assume you will be coming in on
Highway 64 East (off of I-95).
Take EXIT #514 (NC Highway #17) and
turn left into Williamston at the
bottom of the ramp. You will
not have to make any more turns at
all until you turn into my driveway.
As you approach Williamston, you
will see the water tower with a
horse painted on it. As you
get closer, you will pass the high
school on the left (which, of
course, is located in the middle of
a corn field) and The Inn at
Moratock on
your right. Keep going
straight. You are now on
Washington Street. At the
intersection with Main Street,
Highway 17 has magically changed
into North Haughton Street.
You will know you are crossing Main
Street when you see the Wachovia
Bank building on your right.
Haughton Hall is the second house on
the left in the second block past
Main Street. It is a 3-story,
off-white house with small columns
and wicker furniture on the front
porch. Just pull into the back
yard under the whatever kind of tree
that is and, if you don’t mind, come
in the back kitchen door.
